Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
This policy describes the specific practices Truely Commerce follows to protect the client business data and personal data we handle while delivering services. It sits alongside our general Privacy Policy.
1. Data we handle
- Client business information (catalogs, sales data, ad accounts, reports).
- Contact details of client representatives.
- Delegated access to seller and ad accounts on marketplaces where engaged.
2. Lawful basis
We process data based on the signed engagement with the client, and to comply with applicable law and marketplace policies.
3. Access controls
- Least-privilege access — only team members who need data can access it.
- Delegated marketplace access is preferred over shared credentials wherever supported.
- Access is revoked promptly at the end of an engagement.
4. Storage & security
- Reputable, security-audited business tools for email, storage and documents.
- Devices used for client work follow basic security hygiene (screen lock, updates, strong passwords).
- Sensitive documents are not shared over insecure channels.
5. Retention & deletion
Client data is retained only as long as needed for the engagement and record-keeping obligations. Clients can request deletion of their data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
6. Third parties
We do not sell client data. Where data is shared with marketplaces or tools used to deliver services, sharing is limited to what is required and governed by those parties' own policies.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by writing to truelycommerce@gmail.com.
