Incident Response Policy

Last updated: January 2026

Truely Commerce follows a defined process to respond to security, data or service incidents that could affect our clients or their marketplace accounts.

1. What counts as an incident

  • Unauthorised access or attempted access to client accounts, tools or systems.
  • Loss or exposure of confidential business or personal data.
  • Significant marketplace policy actions that need coordinated response.
  • Service outages that materially affect ongoing engagements.

2. Detection & reporting

Team members are trained to escalate any suspected incident immediately to the internal operations lead. Clients and third parties can report suspected issues to truelycommerce@gmail.com.

3. Response steps

  • Contain — restrict access, rotate credentials and stop the impacted activity.
  • Assess — determine scope, cause and impact.
  • Notify — inform affected clients promptly with clear facts.
  • Remediate — fix the underlying issue and restore normal operations.
  • Learn — document a root-cause review and update SOPs to prevent recurrence.

4. Client communication

We commit to timely, honest communication during any incident that affects a client's engagement. Updates will include what is known, what is being done and expected next steps.
