Truely Commerce follows a defined process to respond to security, data or service incidents that could affect our clients or their marketplace accounts.
1. What counts as an incident
- Unauthorised access or attempted access to client accounts, tools or systems.
- Loss or exposure of confidential business or personal data.
- Significant marketplace policy actions that need coordinated response.
- Service outages that materially affect ongoing engagements.
2. Detection & reporting
Team members are trained to escalate any suspected incident immediately to the internal operations lead. Clients and third parties can report suspected issues to truelycommerce@gmail.com.
3. Response steps
- Contain — restrict access, rotate credentials and stop the impacted activity.
- Assess — determine scope, cause and impact.
- Notify — inform affected clients promptly with clear facts.
- Remediate — fix the underlying issue and restore normal operations.
- Learn — document a root-cause review and update SOPs to prevent recurrence.
4. Client communication
We commit to timely, honest communication during any incident that affects a client's engagement. Updates will include what is known, what is being done and expected next steps.
